Position Overview

The Upstream HSSE Analyst will perform HSSE support function for the Upstream HSSE Operations department. 

The role is primarily involved with data management, standard report distribution, data preparation for contractor management, training system management, and environmental/regulatory support.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate transfer of information needed for support
  • Assemble and analyze data and reporting from various internal systems including Well EZ, Wellview, along with public data systems and regulatory web based data sites
  • Maintain the Upstream HSSE file system
  • Assist in coordinating safety orientation meetings as needed
  • Manage/assist organization learning management system program
  • Manage Upstream HSSE documentation sent to and received via email and mail from various regulatory and environmental agencies, field personnel, vendor personnel
  • Assist in data gathering for annual reports to State and Federal agencies
  • Maintain the incident reporting database
  • Assist Upstream HSSE in maintaining supply of personnel protective equipment including FRC program, gas monitoring equipment and other programs as needed
  • Coordinate extra-curricular meetings and training sessions
  • As requested, assist with additional environmental, safety, and regulatory-related activities and tasks
  • Track and update information needed for monthly, quarterly, and annual leadership/corporate reporting

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Advanced use of Microsoft office suite programs
  • Technical Associate’s degree or related training required. Bachelor’s degree preferred

 

Travel

Travel will be required as need to support business activities.

 

Working conditions

The performance of this position requires exposure to field operations, including drilling rigs, well sites, hydraulic fracturing, and other field operations, which will require the use of proper personal protective equipment.

 

This job also operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

 

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: sit, stand, walk, lift, carry, reach, push, and pull.
